The Walking Dead is a certified hit, having just wrapped up its all-too-short freshman season with a literal bang. For those of you without AMC who have been wondering what all the hubbub was about, Anchor Bay Entertainment will be resurrecting the series on Blu-ray and DVD March 8th.

We’ve got looks at both types of box art below, but word on what sort of bonus features the set might include are still pending. At the very least, I’d expect something looking at the show’s source material, the outstanding Image comic by Robert Kirkman. I’d also like to request some zombie commentary. Music has become an integral part of the film (any genre). Even some film music deeply ingrained in the minds of his audience. Some people will always be lulled into the world far away, into the nature Cassablanca, when I hear As Time Goes By. Some people are still humming “Lara’s Theme, and remembering the epic love Doctor Zhivago. Or whistling the theme song Love Story at the time feeling romantic. Many films became immortal because of the song / music.

Hollywood is a symbol of Los Angeles and is known around the world as the centre for entertainment, nightlife and theatre. It attracts millions of tourists from the around the world each year. Due to its fame and cultural identity as the historical center of movie studios and movie stars, the word “Hollywood” is often used as a metonym of American cinema, and is often interchangeably used to refer to the greater Los Angeles area in general. The nicknames StarStruck Town and Tinseltown refer to Hollywood and its movie industry.

A Ranch named “Hollywood”

When Spanish explorers first entered the area now known as Hollywood, Native Americans were living in the canyons of the Santa Monica Mountains. Before long, the Indians had been moved to missions and the land which Hollywood now occupies was divided in two by the Spanish Government. Acreage to the west became part of Rancho La Brea and settlements to the East became Rancho Los Feliz.
